WAKE UP WITH A PRODUCT PITCH!!!


Y'all awake now? Good!

Anyway, it's been a while since anybody's posted (guess we'd rather play outside than mess on the computer right?). So I just thought I'd mention something that's saved my life lately. But not really.

I'm talking about No Pudge brownies and ice cream. I've gotten to where I keep them in my freezer at work and home so they're available whenever I have a chocolate craving. Which happens fairly often. The brownies are dirt easy to make, just the mix and some fat free yogurt. They only have the novelties in ice cream, but for most people that's better cause it cuts down on portion size. And the best thing is, they're only 2 points each!! Yeah, both the brownies and the ice cream are only 2 points each!!

Now back to your regularly scheduled lives.

50 minutes elliptical exercise, which, 3 weeks ago was worth 5 points, is suddenly worth only 2 today. >_<

I ended up putting it in manually, but I'm glad I caught it.

Been a bad week for weight. After 6 weeks of bouncing between 144-146, I finally dropped below 144, only to shoot well back above it, despite eating well below 20 points nearly every day this week (save yesterday, where I finally said "screw it").

Depressing as heck, let me tell you.

When the weather is total crap (cold, windy, raining...ugh), nothing says "LOVE" like a nice bowl of Quaker's new low sugar oatmeal. Only 110 cal, 1.5 g of fat, and 3 g of fiber (2 pts). Satisfying and comforting!

Gee, I should write ad copy. Heh!

Have any of you heard of the President's Fitness Challenge? If not, here's the link: http://www.presidentschallenge.org/

It's a great way to keep track of your activity and also to keep yourself motivated. They have different programs for people just starting exercise and for those who've been working out for a while.

I've earned the Active Lifestyle award twice, the Bronze medal and am a little over halfway to my Silver medal.

The point to the post is... there's a way you can get people together in groups and encourage each other, have mini-competitions, etc. Do you guys think this is something you might be interested in? It'd be kinda cool to have our own little work out group.

Let me know if y'all are interested and I'll set up a group for us!

Found a tool that let's you calculate how many calories you need to maintain your goal weight once you've reached it. At my goal, I'll need to up the calorie intake by approx. 400 a day. That's quite a bit!

Last night I went shopping with my hubby. While I was at the pet store, I picked up a bag of birdseed. It weighed 20 lbs., which is what I've lost. I couldn't believe how heavy it was! To think that I'd been carrying that on my body every day. I won't say "just 20 lbs." any more. ^_~

Wellp, maintained for the week. Not complaining though. After such a huge loss as I had last week, I usually gain the next week. I didn't this time though, so I'm content.

Bored off my ass though. I could be studying or cleaning house, but somehow I don't feel like it. I'm just sitting around waiting for it to become nighttime so I can go out with my dad. And waiting to see if one of my friends in NC will give me a place to stay next weekend so I can go up there for their every-now-and-then get-together.

So I'm just going to turn on my music really loud and sing along with it and see which song I sing the best so I can practice for my American Idol audition in... 2 years.
